BioI used to describe myself here as a night-dwelling crime reporter who thrived on gritty stories, strong drink, road trips and jaunts through the wilderness.
Some of that's still true of me. Some if it's not (because living that way kicked my ass). But that's a long story involving some church ladies, some caring drunks, a few irate friends, and a vision of hell. I'll save that for another time.
Suffice to say, I'm an ed reporter living in Fresno, Home of the Crappiest Air in America. I write frequently, curse occasionally and pray daily. I have great friends, a co-dependent cat, and a bizarre sense of humor. In all? Life is good.
